Giving Announcement

Introduction

Have you seen or hear an announcement?

Announcement is a statement (official notification) which is usually given in oral or written form. Announcements are usually given in crowded places so that many people see/hear. However, not everyone is interested in the announcement. We can hear or read announcements anywhere, for example verbal announcements at school or in public places, while written announcements can be read on bulletin boards, in magazines, and in newspapers.
