Renewable and Non-renewable resources

Introduction


Today you will work with a partner to investigate natural Resources.  You will work together to research and complete a tree map of natural Resources.  Your tree map will identify types of renewable and non renewable resources and how these resources are used.  After you have completed your tree map you will select one non-renewable resource and create a presentation on how to protect the resource.  Your presentation will be created using gaggle/google docs. 

Task


You  will complete the following tasks.

1.) Using the on-line resources provided you willidentifies 3 renewable and non renewable resources and provide an example of how each resource is used.

2.) Select a non-renewable natural resource you learned about explain how and why it needs to be protected.  You and your partner will make a presentation for the class. 

3.) You will present your project to the class.

Evaluation

You and your partner will need to have 3 renewable and non renewable resources on your tree map.  You will need to identify how each resource will be used.  Your presentation made through gaggle/google docs will need to state what natural resource you are presenting ,  include why it needs to be protected and how it can be protected. 

Conclusion

You will present your project to your classmates to help us all become experts on how to protect our natural resources
