Introduction
Imagine you are a student in a multicultural school in Greece. This year there are some newcomers from France, Spain, Italy, Sweden and Portugal. As part of getting to know each other better and finding out some information about their countries you're going to take part in a geography quest.
Task
You will have several adventures before your task is complete.
- First, divide in groups of 4 (four).
- Each group decides on the country (of the above-mentioned) you are going to work on.
- Then, find information about the capital, population and flag of this country.
- Then, mention the countries it borders as well as important geographical features (mountains, rivers, lakes)
- The next step is to get information about its landmarks.
- Find typical dishes of this country.
- Mention famous people from this country.
- Write your opinion on this country. Would you like to visit it?
The output of this quest will be in a PPT, using one page for every step of the task.

Evaluation
The project will be implemented in two teaching sessions in class. Your PPT will be saved on school computers under the name Geography Project:(name of the country).

I am proud of you. You have learnt so many things about European countries and given the chance to your new classmates to integrate in your school community and develop social skills (communication/collaboration) while adjusting in Greece.
