Geography of Africa

Introduction

Get ready to explore the geography of West Africa. You will explore the Savanna, the Sahara Desert, the Congo Rainforest, the Niger River, and the Sahel. To get to Africa, you will first cross the Atlantic Ocean and arrive off the coast of the Gulf of Guinea. 

 

After reading Chapter 10 of your book, imagine that you are writing an email back home to a friend. Describe what you see, hear, feel, and smell in Africa. Include details about the climate, wildlife, and topography of Africa.
