Fractions & Decimals! They may not seem like the most exciting math concepts but they are EVERYWHERE! Today you will explore the wonderful world of fractions and decimals and hopefully have some fun! You will have an assignment to complete WHILE you go through the WebQuest. The assignment is found on Canvas and is called Fractions & Decimal E-Day Worksheet (You were also given a a hard copy on Wednesday). Task
Today's task is to follow along on the Process Tab, learn and explore the world of fractions and decimals and THEN create your own story problems involving both. You will create one ORIGINAL story problem for fractions and one for decimals, then solve each. (That's 2 story problems and 2 answers) These questions and answers should then be brought back to school on Friday. Click on the PROCESS tab above to continue.

Process
Make sure you have your worksheet with you! Fill it out as you go!
1) Watch the following video and answer the questions on your worksheet.
2) Play the decimal board game. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PLAY THE WHOLE GAME! You have to solve at least 4 problems and show your work on your worksheet. Go to http://www.math-play.com/decimals-board-game/decimals-board-game_html5.html to play the game!
3) Go to http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/mathgames/fractions/memory_equivalent3.htm where you will play an equivalent fraction game! Please click on the Timed Mode Game option and record your final score and level on your worksheet.
4) Create your own story problems on your worksheet, solve each and be prepared to turn in your worksheet on Friday!
