Introduction
Welcome to your third grade Webquest entitled, "Fraction Fun!"
The four tasks below will take you on the following journeys and tasks which will lead you through fun, interactive games and learning experiences.
Task
The first of these explorations, you will learn about fractions from a video. Please watch it carefully and listen to the vocabulary. In your second journey, you will identify which picture of pizza represents a given fraction (the faster you go, the more points you can get!) In the third task, you will explore different representations for fractions through a game. Lastly, the final adventure includes a written recipe involving ice cream sundaes.

Process
Each student will complete tasks 1-4.
After each task is completed, be sure to print screens to confirm completion (these will need to be turned into teacher).
Evaluation
Each task will be printed on the classroom computer.
Conclusion
You have now started the beginning process of fractions. You should understand what a fraction is and understand a unit fraction as the quantity formed by one part when a whole is partitioned into equal parts.
