Introduction
Imagine you are going to organize a food fair for the students at the school. You want to introduce the food from different countries to the students. Since there are 6 grade levels at the school, you are going the pick the famous dishes from six famous countries. You are going to design the information cards for each of the delicious dishes and so you need to search for some information about them.
Task
You are going to write the information cards about the 6 countries that you choose and the details about the dishes you are going to introduce to your fellow classmates at the school.
The information cards will be about:
- A simple introduction about the country
(e.g. the geography, population, the language) - The famous dishes in the country (you need to choose 3 for each country)
- Any dining tips for the specific dishes chosen
Remarks: You may also put some pictures about the countries and the dishes to make your information cards more interesting!!
Process
Process 1:
You are going to choose the 6 major countries that people often go during long holidays. Do you know what countries are the most popular destinations for Hong Kong people to travel around?

Process 2:
Try to find out the details of the countries that you want to talk about. You may need to find the information below and make a simple introduction on the information cards.

Process 3:
After introducing the countries you want to talk about, you can try to find the popular delicacy from each of the countries. For each country. remember the choose 3 dishes.

Conclusion
After searching for the information and finish your information cards, it is the time for you to discuss with your partner about what you have found. You will work on a presentation with your groupmates next week and decide the final 6 countries your group agree on. Each group will have 6 minutes to for the presentation.
