Introduction
Through the past years Houston has been faced with several natural disasters. More specifically flooding, like; "Memorial Day Flood 2015," "Tax Day Flood 2017," "Memorial Day Flood 2016," "Hurricane Harvey 2017," and "Tropical Storm Imelda 2019."

Task
In this activity you will gather in groups of 3 and will research and prepare a presentation of why flooding happens. (Like land development, erosion, etc.)
When creating your presentation (Prezi, Powtoon, Powerpoint, etc.) think of the following questions?
Why does flooding occur?
What changes in the area caused it to flood?
How can we stop flooding?

Your presentation will be evaluated based on four components -
1. Content is creative and delivered creatively.
2. Ability to present without reading directly from presentation.
3. The amount of information provided.
4. Citations are provided.
Conclusion
The conclusion of this project is to understand how and why flooding is present and steadily increases through the years. What are WE doing? What is the world doing? How do we prepare?
