.

7. After finishing, one of the group members should type the answers in a Word or Oppen Office document and send them to the teacher's email.

TASK:

1- After doing the previous activities, you should think about the roles of every group member. Remember that you are four people:

  • SCRIPT WRITERS: you should write the script of your dialogue. Your dialogue will be about a love story in a soap opera which is also narrated. So, there will be dialogue and narration. To do it properly, you should consider the following points:
    • The couple (who are the characters present in the dialogue).
    • The love story (when they met, where they met, how their relationship is, what happened to their relationship, either good or bad).
    • Friends' point of view (who are the narrators).

Two members of the group are the couple and the other two represent the friends' couple.

You should use this template to brainstorm what makes the characters of the dialogue feel loved. These ideas can be included in              the narration of the soap opera (e.g. what makes the couple feel loved).

Download it from the English class website.

  • Don't forget to use reflexive and emphatic pronouns so that your conversation and narration will sound more natural.

  • ACTORS/ACTRESSES: The 4 members of the group will film or record the soap opera in front of the camera or microphone. You must read and remember the script. Practise your role a couple of times in order to perform it right!
  • CAMERA OPERATOR: In case you use https://flipgrid.com/ (use this code: flipgrid.com/enoral4),  one member at a time will have to record the  soap opera with the camera on the mobile phone. This communicative situation cannot last more than 3 minutes.

    • However, if you decide to record your voice with https://voicethread.com/, make sure that your voice is audible. This communicative situation cannot last more than 3 minutes.

2- Finally, your task is competed successfully!

Evaluation

In order to assess you, I will use the  rubrics posted on the website.

Additionally, I will give you some individual and group feedback.

Conclusion

Finally, you have finished the task! You should feel very confident if you need to plan any soap opera in the future! I hope you have taken in everything we have learnt in this Webquest!

I will correct your dialogue with the rubrics and I will give you some individual and group feedback by email.

Remember that we use emphatic pronouns:

When the compound personal pronoun is used for laying emphasis on the subject of the sentence.

Remember that we use reflexive pronouns:

When an action done by the subject turns back (reflects) upon the subject , the compound personal pronoun is called “Reflexive Pronoun”.

See you soon with more Webquests!
