Welcome to our storytelling adventure! In this webquest, you will explore the exciting world of themes in stories. A theme is the main idea or message that a story tells us. Through this journey, you'll learn how to find themes in different stories and understand what they mean.

Your task is to find themes in some fun stories. You will work on your own or with a friend to complete the following activities:

2. Read: Enjoy some short stories.

3. Discover: Find the themes in the stories.

4. Interact: Play games to show what you know about theme.

Step 1:  Understanding Themes

Step 2:  Reading Stories

Step 3:  Finding Themes

1. For each story think about these questions

• What happens in the story?  Tell the main events.
• What is the problem or challenge in the story?
• What lesson or message do you learn from this story?

     2.  Use the Theme Graphic Organizer in the Nearpod to write you answers to these questions

     3.  Share your answers with your group

You will be evaluated based on:
