Final Project- WebQuest

Introduction

Often times, parents of disabled kids are unaware of how to assist their child. This is because of their lack of understanding regarding their child's condition. However, there are numerous sites that define disabilities and list tips and resources available for care givers. Depending on the severity of the condition, some kids may need additional assistance to obtain their education. Furthermore, special education is described as instruction that is specifically designed to cater to the individual needs of the child. On the other hand, " Inspire" is the name of an an annual event held at schools that allows students to display things that they have created with their classmates. The event is open for family and friends to come and watch.

Task

The students will be required to participate in Inspire. Students must partner together to form two groups of four. One group will be required to focus on special education and its definition, while the other group will gather information that lists tips and resources available for parents of children with disabilities. Students will be given 5 class periods to work on this assignment. At the beginning of the 3rd class period, each group will present a rough draft that will be peer reviewed by each group.
