Figures of Speech are based on RESEMBLANCE, CONTRAST, ASSOCIATION AND CONSTRUCTION.
Task
Name the various Figures of Speech in the following
- The more haste, the less speed.

- Pleas, Sleep, my cause and make her soft like thee.
Process
- State a few sentences
- Now, explain the figures of speech based on resemblance, contrast, association and construction using the sentences.
- State a few sentences again and tell the students to solve.

- Make a criteria or rubrics regarding to the students performance
Conclusion
Figures of speech lend themselves particularly well to literature and poetry. They also pack a punch in speeches and movie lines.
