Introduction
Well guys, we have been learning about a lot of different figures and what they stand for. From African American history figures to US history figures there are so many individuals with so many different back grounds. This is an opportunity to take what you know and add a little more information to it. In this Webquest, you will pick an historic figure and collect information to create a powerpoint presentation about them.
Task
PICK PICK PICK, pick a figure that you feel you connect with or that has inspired you and write about them. At the end of this activity you should be able to spit facts about them without even having to really think about anything. This is also a chance to work on your note taking skills and the way you collect information.
Process
First: Pick a figure that best fits you and stick with it. Once you email me the figure, I will reply with a check to approve or a decline to tell you that the person is taking or not.
Second: Start your research, take notes on different website ( DO NOT COPY WORD FOR WORD) make these notes into your own. Wikipedia is not a reliable source for information so don't use it. Make sure you keep these names of these websites for your references.
Third : Once you have your notes together start making your powerpoint. DON'T BE BLAND!!!! Make it colorful and full of life.
Finally: Share the powerpoint with me via email.

Conclusion
