These patterns are all around us in our every day life. Patterns are in geometric shapes, leaves on plants, music, planet movements, shells, bones, animals, weather and astronomical patterns.

In Mathematics, we define the sequence as an ordered list of numbers that follow a particular pattern. The numbers that are present in the sequence are also known as terms. One such interesting sequence is 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21,......... This sequence is known as 'FIBONACCI SEQUENCE'. If you look closely at the numbers , you can see that each number is the sum of two previous numbers.
Definition of Fibonacci sequence is given below:
The Fibonacci sequence is an infinite sequence that starts with 0 and 1 and continues ins such a way that each number is the sum of the previous two numbers.
