Mr. D's Time Travel Adventure!

Introduction-

The goal of the students background information to ancient civilizations that we will be studying this years.

 

Learners-

I designed this webquest for 6thgrade students to work with during their world history and geography class.

 

Standards-

6.2- Students analyze the geographic, political, economic, religious, and social structures of the early civilizations of Mesopotamia and Egypt.

6.4  Students analyze the geographic, political, economic, religious, and social structures of the early civilizations of Ancient Greece. Students analyze the geographic, political, economic, religious, and social structures during the development of Rome.

Technology-

4.1  Use electronic reference materials to gather information and produce products and services.

 

Process-

 

In order for students to remain focused and not get lost or confused in doing the required research for this webquest, the teacher needs to provide the necessary webpages to keep the students on task. Also, during the webquest, the teacher needs to gage the appropriateness of the websites provided as well as the student activities to avoid confusion by students.

 

Resources-

 

The students will need access to computers and the Internet in order for students to complete the webquest. In addition, the students will need paper, colored pencils, and markers to create their timeline and maps.
