Introduction
Farm Animal Coloring Book
The students have been learning about farm animals this quarter. This assignment will be a fun way for the students to show off what they have learned in the class.
Task
Students will use the information learned about farm animals to fill in a coloring book with different farm animals and write a sentence about each animal.
Process
At the beginning of the Farm Animals Unit, the teacher will read Big Red Barn aloud to the class, encouraging students to pay attention to the different farm animals. Students will then be given the opportunity to say which animal was their favorite. Each day the student will pick an animal in the coloring book and color the picture and also write a sentence about the animal.
