What is a habitat? A habitat is the special, unique place that plants and animals live. This webquest will teach you about several habitats and at the end you will be able to identify plants and animals in each of these habitats. Enjoy this trip and learing facts about different habitats.
Task
During our thematic unit on habitats each group of students (3 in each group) will work through this webquest as a team. Each member of the team will write interesting facts about each habitat in your journal. At the end of this unit each group will develop a project (be creative) based on one of the habitats. Each project will be presented to the class and put on display in the hallway.
Process
Follow these steps!
1. Print the Fact Sheet listed below.
2. Click on the habitat links.
3. As you travel on this trip don't forget to complete the fact sheet and write in your journal.
4. Decide which habitat your group would like to complete your project on.
5. Complete your project.
6. Present your project to the class.
