Introduction

Cities around the world have unique cultures, histories and famous landmarks. In this Webquest you will explore some of the most famous cities in the world.

Task

In this journey, you will work in groups to search famous cities around the world and you will prepare a poster about a famous city including it’s famous landmarks, culture, traditions and food.

Process

1.Choose a famous city that you are interested.

2.Gather information about that city.

3.Create a well designed poster including visual of landmarks, cultures, traditions and foods.

4.Bringing your poster in the time and show it to the class.

Evaluation

I will evaluate your poster with these criterias:

1.Information: The poster should include correct and clear information and visuals.

2.Group Work: Everyone in the group should contribute preparing poster.

3.Language use: English must be used correctly and clearly.

Each category is 20 point.

Conclusion

Through this Webquest, you learned about different cultures, landmarks, foods and traditions via poster. You also improved your research, design and team work skills. Now you are ready to discover more places and continue learning about the world around you.
