Introduction
Hello students! Today, we will be learning about the unique ecological features of turtles.
1. In what ecological ways does the turtle survive and thrive in different environments?
2: Learn the habits between freshwater turtles and sea turtles.
3. How do humans impact the lives of turtles?
4. What efforts can we use to protect turtles?
Learning objectives;
Identify the difference between freshwater turtles and sea turtles.
Identify how turtles help the ecosystems.
Analyze how humans can protect the habits of turtles
This Web Quest aligns with Florida's State Standards for Geography and Environmental Science and incorporates Bloom's Taxonomy by engaging students in analysis, evaluation, and creation.

Task
You will work in groups of 4 to create a narrated PowerPoint on Turtles.
Each group will have to create unique roles and explain how each person will contribute to presenting the difference between freshwater and ocean turtles.
- Freshwater turtles
How do they both help the ecosystem and what are their similarities and differences?
- Ocean turtles
How can humans help the impact and conservation efforts to save them?
Process
Your presentation will be 10-15 mins.
- You will need research, visuals, citations, and a proposed solution to save the impact of the lives of turtles. Environment Scientists: How do turtles monitor the ecosystem? How are pollution and temperature changes affecting their habits?
Ecolgicaltis: How do turtles maintain and play roles in our ecological balance?
Habitat: Explain how they create shelter for other species.
Create a life cycle diagram of the turtles and compare both growth stages.

Create a PowerPoint, use slides, and be informative.
Include images and create text for each of them and all data.
Write a script of the narration.
Before the presentation, practice your parts and record them clearly on each slide.

Conclusion
Congratulations
Through the project, you will understand turtles' importance and how they help our ecosystem. How, in coastal regions, it
is essential to protect them, and we must learn that preserving them helps the planet.
By researching this project, you will be engaged in science and technology
On my teacher page, you will find a website to learn how to track a turtle and even help clean beaches to protect the turtles nests.
