Exploring Shapes Around Us

Introduction

Have you ever noticed the shapes around you? shapes are all us, and they help us understand the world. this lesson children will explore circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles, in the classroom, at home and even outside. shapes are not just for learning. guess what they are in toys, furniture, doors, windows, and many objects we see every day. by exploring shapes, children will learn to recognize, name, and describe shapes and understand how shapes are part of our daily lives.

children's will identify basic shapes and recognize them in everyday objects. they will also practice talking about shapes and noticing them in the world around them

Task

Children will participate in fun, hands on activities to learn about shapes. watching videos to understands better these activities are designed to be interactive, playful, and engaging for preschoolers.

Process

1st: Show children pictures or toys of a circle, square, triangle, and rectangle. Say the names out loud, then ask children to repeat the names. Encourage them to make the shape with their hands.

2nd: Shape Hunt: Walk around the classroom, playground, or home. Ask children to look for objects that match each shape. For example:

Evaluation

will observe and note each child’s participation and understanding. will look if the child name at least one or more shapes:

Can the child find shapes in the classroom, toys, or home? 

Can the child talk about shapes or describe their favorite shapes? 

Did the child show curiosity and excitement while exploring shapes? 

Conclusion

Today children explored shapes around them and learned to recognize, name, and sort circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles. They practiced observing their environment, using their imagination, and having fun with hands on activities. shapes are everywhere in our toys, homes, classrooms, and playgrounds. by noticing shapes, children learn to see the world in new ways and understand how shapes are part of everyday life.
