Introduction
Students will see the difference between monogastric and ruminant digestive systems. Knowing how each of these digestive systems function will give students a better understanding of how different animals require different nutrients based on how they digest food. This information will help students later when they present projects the ruminant and monogastric digestive systems.
Task
In this WebQuest, you will watch a video about the digestion of monogastric and ruminant digestive systems. At the end of each section in the video, you will answer the questions that are asked on a seperate sheet of paper. Be sure to label each set questions. For example, the set of questions that are asked will be labled: Section 1.
Next, watch the second video and write down 10 points from the video. You must have at least two points from each section.

Evaluation
You will be evaluated based on your answers on the worksheet. Each question will be worth 1 point. You will also get two points for each of the facts/ key points you write down from the video. Any extra facts that you write past 10 will be an extra point, but you may only write up to five extra. There will also be 5 points for participating in the class assignments. for a total of 30 points (not including the extra credit).
Conclusion
Upon completion of this WebQuest, you should have a better understanding of the two types of digestion and the steps it takes for animals to digest food. After you have answered your questions from each section in the video and wrote down at least 10 facts from the second video turn in your paper with your name at the top in the correct box at the end of class.
