Introduction
Welcome to our exciting journey through the four seasons! Have you ever noticed how the weather changes throughout the year? Sometimes it's warm and sunny, other times it's cold and snowy. In this WebQuest, you will explore the different seasons—Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. You'll learn about the weather, animals, and plants in each season and discover why these changes happen. Get ready to become a season detective!
Task
Your mission is to create a "Season Book" with your group. Each page of your book will focus on one of the four seasons. For each season, you will include:
- A drawing or picture that shows what the season looks like.
- A short description of the weather.
- Examples of animals and plants that are common during that season.
- Fun activities or holidays that happen during the season.
At the end of the project, you will share your Season Book with the class and explain what you’ve learned.
Process
- Form Groups: You'll be divided into four groups, with each group focusing on a different season.
- Research: Use the websites and books provided to find information about your assigned season.
- Look for pictures, videos, and facts about the weather, animals, plants, and activities.
- Create Your Season Page:
- Draw or find pictures that represent your season.
- Write a few sentences about the weather, animals, plants, and activities.
- Be creative and make your page colorful and informative!
- Compile the Season Book: Once all the groups have finished, we will put together everyone's pages into one big Season Book.
- Presentation: Each group will present their season to the class and explain what they’ve learned.
