This lesson is about exploring Colorado!
How long do you think people have lived in Colorado? What are some cool facts? What should we know about that state?
Task
You are going to go through each of the steps and complete each lesson!
Task 1: The History
You will watch a video on the history of Colorado.
Take notes on this video and highlight the key points.
Task 2: The People
You will be redirected to a website and read about the Indians who lived there, and the people who moved there.
Taking notes is not necessary, but you will need to be familiar with the information.
Task 3: The Environment
Watch a video on environment and mining in Colorado.
Complete the Cause and Effect Worksheet
Task 4: Your Turn
On a blank sheet of paper, write your opinion in an essay form on Colorado and its inhabitants, and try to find some more fun facts about this state. You will need four paragraphs and at least three fun facts.

Task 4: Your Turn
On a blank sheet of paper, write your opinion (short essay) on the state of Colorado and list at least three more fun facts that you find about this state. It can come from the Internet, a book, or your background knowledge. Your essay should be at least four paragraphs in length.
