Task
Candidates proceed through the entire WebQuest learning about the various exploratory models. After watching the various videos and reading about each model, choose one of the pedagogical models discussed in the introduction. Go to the websites listed for your chosen model and review more deeply. Read through and gain an understanding of your model, and then use that understanding to create a five to ten minute mini lesson, teaching content of your choice using the model via Loom, Screencastify or Screencast-o-matic. You will do this by USING the model as you teach your choice of content. Candidates should also indicate how you will provide aspects of differentiation or UDL to help everyone in the class gain a thorough understanding of the content and model.
Process
A note before we start: Everyone is learning the "Webquest" model, simply by interacting with this Webquest. As such you will not be allowed to choose a "Webquest" for your teaching presentation/exploration.
After brief exploration of the various exploratory models, choose the model you intend to use to teach the mini lesson.
Click on the model below and navigate through all the links connected to that model. Keep in mind that you will need to create a 5-10 minute mini-lesson using your model, in order to teach your model, so explore all resources thoroughly.
Inquiry Based Methods:
Inquiry methods are often considered an overarching group of methods that includes the models listed below (Webquests, Discovery, Project based, 5E, etc...). But it is also sometimes taken on as it's own standalone model.

Evaluation
After you have explored your exploratory model of instruction, create a five-ten minute mini lesson to teach using screencast technology. You will earn up to three points. 1.) The content was covered well and clearly. 2.) The model was used correctly. 3.) Differentiated activities were obviously present in your lesson.
Conclusion
Next week we will explore other pedagogical models based on questioning in a continuation of this week's lesson. Know that inquiry and questioning are closely connected, but that the exploratory models viewed this week are extremely focused on hands on exploration, while the questioning models next week are focused more on evidence in text.
