From the first telephone to today's smartphones...from bulky computers to AI-powered assisstants... technology is constantly evolving. These changes affect how we live, learn, work and communicate.
In this WebQuest, you will explore how technology has changed over time, analyze its effect on society, and imagine what the future of technology awaits.
Task
You will work in groups of 3-4 to create a Multimedia presentation (PowerPoint, Canva infographic, or short video) that shows:
1. How technology has evolved over the last 50 years.
2. The positive effects of technology on society.
3. The negative effects or challenges of technology.
4. Your prediction of what technology will look like 20 years from now.
Your group will present your final work to the class.

1. Form Groups - Assign roles:

2. Research Phase - used provided websites and videos to explore.
- History of technology
- Benefits of innovations and negative effect
- Predictions for the future
3. Brainstorm & Plan - Decide how to organize your ideas into a timeline, chart, or infographic
4. Create the Presentation - Include text, Images, and examples. Be creative!
5. Present to the class - Each group member should speak during the presentation.

Conclusion
Completing the WebQuest has helped me understand how technology has changed overtime and how it continues to shape our daily lives. By exploring past, present and future innovations. I learned not only about the tools but also about the positive and negative effects of technology. This activity showed me that technology is constant evolving and that we have a role in using it responsibly for learning, communication, even problem solving. Remember- technology is powerful, but how we use it will shape the future.
Reflection:
At first, I saw the WebQuest as just a simple assignment but completing it brought me happiness and excitement. Seeing my work displayed as a website made me realized that learning can be creative, meaningful, and helpful to others. This experience taught me new skills, boosted my confidence, and reminded me that learning is more than completing tasks-it's about creating something valuable.
I am truly grateful for the knowledge I gained today!
