Task

Use the vast resources found on the internet to discover all about coat of arms and their meanings. A coat of arms is a fancy drawing of a shield with different animals and pictures, called elements, that represent a knight or a family. In medieval times, there were so many badges, another name for a coat of arms, that there were people whose only job was to record all the coats of arms and make sure the new ones that were being created were different from the old ones, to avoid confusion. At first they were very simple, but they became more complicated as time wore on. What will you discover today?

Be sure to keep a pencil and paper handy to answer the questions.
