I hope you are all doing well under the current circumstances we find ourselves in, even though we may be working from school it is very important to still keep on track when it comes to our academics.
In Today's lesson we will be focusing on Figures of Speech.
By the end of this lesson you should be able to understand the various figures of speech and be able to even apply them to the literature work that you may be covering in the curriculum.

FIGURES OF SPEECH:
IDENTIFY WHICH FIGURE OF SPEECH WAS USED IN THE FOLLOWING SENTANCES:
- He has a heart of gold.
- Shannon’s smile was as bright as the suns shine.
- Life’s a journey : travel it well
- A wicked whisper came to me and it changed my life.

1. Look closely at the various figures of speech.
2. Identify the differences between the figures of speech.
3. Be able understand Literal language vs Figurative Language.
