Introduction
Hello Zoologists!
The endangered animals are in serious need of your help now! We need to save them from becoming extinct. You will choose one endangered animal species to learn about and teach others how they can help save these animals from disappearing forever.
Put on your zoo thinking hats - it is time to go on a webquest to help us find facts and information on endangered species!
Task
Objectives:
Students will be able to identify animals as living things, as well as endangered, and describe their habitat.
Students will be able to describe what the basic needs of a specific animal are and what happens when a living thing has all of these needs met.
Your job is to learn about 1 specific endangered animal. At the end of this webquest, you will be able to answer the following questions below:
Why is your animal endangered?
What can you do to help?
Where does your animal live?
What are some facts about your animal?
What does your animal eat?
How long does your animal typically live?
On your mark, Get set, GO!!!
When you find the answers write them down in your journal.
Process
1. Listen and learn about why animals become extinct or endangered?
2. Learn about the top 10 endangered animals. (jot down two key things you remember)
