Welcome everybody!

Do you know what street food is?

Do you usually eat street food in your country?

Have you ever been in Turkey and/or Greece?

Have you ever tried street food in those countries?

Choose a kind of street food you would like to try for each country.
Then make a multimedia presentation giving some information about it. Look for pictures and recipes.

Now, it's time to present your work!

Choose a kind of street food you would like to try for each country.

Get some information about the three countries (position, climate, culinary traditions, etc.) and some other information about the street food you have chosen.

Then make a multimedia presentation in order to share your web quest with your classmates.

STEP 1

The students will be divided into three groups. The first one will look for information about Greece’s climate, position, etc..; the second one will get information about Turkey, while the third will deal with Italy’s position, climate and so on. It is advisable to put the countries’ maps on your presentation.

Every student has to carry out a specific task within his own group, but as it is a group work the responsibility must be shared with all members. So it is very important that you do your best!

Then choose at least 2 foreign street foods and look for pictures and recipes.

This activity will help your students to know other countries and their food traditions, moreover it is suitable to improve their self -confidence when presenting in front of people.  Lastly, the students are required to learn to recognize useful links and to select the information they need.
