Butterflies are a pretty unique thing in life. They represent and deep and powerful message in our life. It’s said that butterflies represent things within our souls. They also have a in depth religious meaning to them. In this world, people view the butterfly as representing endurance, change, hope, and life.

Metamorphosis stages are what they will be looking for during this project. Over the course of it evolving they will he observing it thoroughly and in depth. They will break up into groups of two’s towards the end of class weekly to begin this process. Interesting facts such as what they eat, how they sleep and etc will also need to be provided. But in all, they will be in charge of making sure their butterfly meets the proper needs in order for it to blossom the correct way.

Conclusion

I’d hope to have created an experience where if helps the young minds be creative as well as gaining knowledge having to do with nature. Trying to bring each one out of their comfort zone as well as putting both of their minds together I will be coming up with activities throughout the semester to create a positive environment and I’ll make sure everyone in the class has been paired up at least once. Moving forward this will help them have fun, as well as creating a friendship with each other at the same time.

This can be used honestly for all grades. I’d lean more towards elementary school. It’s teaching them at an early age about how to properly gather information they’ve taken throughout the experiment and compare it to the day before. It’s a great strategy to create a bond for them moving forward.
