Introduction

This WebQuest has the purpose to be able to identify the elements of a short story in whatever situation.

What is a short story?

Short stories often contain structural and character elements that should be familiar to students. These elements can be used as guides to help you think about the actions, themes, and contexts of the story. These elements are plot, character, setting, conflict, and theme. They are important because they provide a framework for the writer to tell their story and also they give the reader a way to follow the story and understand what is happening.

Process

"The three little pigs " is a fable about three pigs that build their houses of different materials, then a Big Bad Wolf blows down the first two pigs' houses which are made of straw and sticks respectively but is unable to destroy the third pig's house which is made of bricks.
