Introduction

This webquest is about to teach you the elements of short story which are the characters, setting, plot, conflict and theme. Also, the definition of them as well as examples to understand them more. Each element is important in making the story complete and interesting.
Task
For the first task, define each element of the short story.
As for the second task,
Read 'The Tell-Tale Heart' and then identify each element of the short story giving example of each element from the story.

Now you have finished studying and learning about the different elements of the short story and now you should be able to differentiate between them.
Now for the assessment:
For the first task which is to differentiate between the different elements of the short story, you will be scoring 5 marks, each definition is worth one mark only.
As for the second task, which is to write the elements of 'The Tell-Tale Heart', it is also worth 5 marks.
Anyone who makes a project regarding this topic and choose any short story they want, explaining the elements of the story in details, will earn extra 5 marks.
