By examining websites of the Greek gods/goddesses, students will identify each god/goddess as to what they were known for. Example: Hades is the God of the Dead. You will also find one interesting fact about each god/goddesses. You will then be asked to do research on  the media, advertising, and companies to see how they incorporate Greek Mythology into their approach. At the end, you will be able to identify Greek gods/goddesses and see how they influence our society today.

  1. You will examine websites that have Greek gods/goddesses and identify what they are aligned with. Ex: Hades is the God of the Dead.
  2. After you identify the Greek god/goddess, you will find something that interests you about them and write that in your chart as well. 
  3. Research from the given wesites some examples of Greek Mythology present in modern day media and advertising/companies.

You will fill out chart provided in class to label the Greek gods/goddesses of what their identity is. You will then have to find one interesting or important fact that you found about each god/goddesses.
