Introduction
the most challendinfg part as a teacher is knowing which method or approach to effectively use in classroom so as to get the best outcome out of the teaching learning process.there are several theories that can be used to teach students. as a teacher, it is most appropriate to identify the teaching theory that has been tried before and yielded mximum result. in this webQuest i will be focusing on two theories.
John Locke (1632-1704)is a reknown scholar by his theory of learning that suggest childrent at their early age presents a blank brain. he believed that childrens development comes from their interaction with the enviroment, parents and caregivers.in todays world it can be observed that Locke was correct by how children learn. anothrer theory that i will be looking at is the Bandura's theory which suggests that new behaviors are learned mostly by paying attention to the behaviors of others and modeling or reproducing their behaviors based upon their experiences with others. Bandura's social learning theory also known as social cognitive theory suggests that individuals learn behavior not only when their own behaviors are reinforced, but also when they observe other people's behaviors being reinforced (Bandura, 1977). Young children tend to learn from what they see more than from anything else in their early learning years. Whereas, Kohlberg's theory of moral development is based on the ways that children understand things such as honesty, following rules, fairness, and justice, (Nalipay, et al, 2019) . "The notion of the importance of environmental influences is particularly evident in programs that encourage and promote early childhood education as a means of helping children get a good foundation for learning early in life
