Introduction
Students will learn and understand dribbling, the different types and when it is used in football. Students will display the correct technique when performing the skill. Students will work cooperatively in groups. Students will also state the coaching points while demonstrating the skill during the lesson.
Task
Students will explore dribbling in football and its utilization via online materials.
The coaching points related to dribbling will be provided by the students.
During class, students will have the opportunity to practice and exhibit dribbling both individually and in groups.
Process
Vocabulary: Dribbling technique, close control, ball control, direction change, and ball shielding.
Students will be required to watch videos which explain and illustrate different football dribbling techniques and provide instructions on how to apply them appropriately.
Students will be able to demonstrate each dribbling technique and discuss the key coaching points and when to use them in game situations.
