Introduction
Students will learn how dribbling is a key skill in basketball. Students will also learn the different types of dribbling. Students will explore techniques, rules and importance of dribbling in basketball. Students will understand the types of dribbling and be able to preform them with 70 percent accuracy.
Task
Students will use online resources to learn about the different types of dribbling , define the different terms associated with dribbling , and be able to demonstrate the technique independently. Students will watch YouTube videos on the fundamentals of dribbling.
Process
Vocabulary Terms: Dribbling, control dribble, speed dribble, ball control, traveling, carrying, court awareness.
Students will look and listen to video for definitions and look at examples from online resources about each term. Students will create a digital poster with rules associated with dribbling in basketball.
There will be assigned videos on the fundamental of dribbling in basketball.
Students will watch videos then discus in groups what they learnt, then demonstrate it individually.
