Task
Today you will be researching online several genres of poetry.

Working in pairs, you will follow the instructions on the process page answering the questions on the handout by following the links provided to the appropriate websites and pages. You will have the entire lesson for this task which is to be completed for home work if necessary. As you research types of poetry, I want you to consider how each genre, including its form and content, suits an author's theme. We will discuss these ideas in our next lesson. |

Evaluation
For this task you will be assessed on the completion of the WebQuest. This includes answering all of the questions plus completing all activities. You should print your finished WebQuest and turn it in. If you don't finish in class, it will be finished as homework (you and your partner may still work together, but if that is not possible, you will finish yours by yourself) and turn it in at our next class period.
