Digital Citizenship Integration Plan

Introduction

Technology plays a significant role in society today. In today's society, technology, or its application, links us. The internet is a convenient and useful tool for finding information, sharing information, and interacting with others separated by geography or the like. As a result, we all as a collective should be vigilant about how we interact in our digital space. We should seek to understand digital citizenship and what it means to be one; by utilizing Ribble's Framework we can have more effective digital citizenship. This framework is divided into three domains: Be Safe, Be Savvy, Be Social. Each domain has three elements that constitute digital citizenship.

This WebQuest will teach you as students about Digital citizenship and how you can use technology and its digital tools to your advantage while still being safe. You will be given an element each from the three domains; Be Safe, Be Savvy, Be Social, and along with your classmates you will engage in three (3) interactive activities. The elements that will be focused on are:

* Be Savvy * - Digital Fluency: Users fully understand how to use technology to enhance their activities/tasks.
