Sports training is designed to improve your fitness level and improve your fundamentals of the given sport you are training for. The objective of training is to develop the energy production systems to meet the demands of the event. 

It aims to help someone achieve maximum efficiency and allows the body to gradually build up strength and endurance, improve skill levels and build motivation, ambition and confidence.

1) Basic motor abilities are important for most sports because an athlete has to have a basic skill set to improve upon and an athlete must know how to play the sport. 

 

2) An athlete must increase the intensity of a workout/training session so the athlete can intensify the muscle mass of the muscle groups needed for the sport and an increase the workouts to have a higher toleration point.
