A Quest for Understanding Medieval Europe

Essential Questions: What caused Feudalism to fall? What role did the church play in government during Medieval Europe?   

Task

Part One: Complete the six listed tasks in order using the research links provided. Write answers in your Social Studies composition book. Title this section WebQuest Medieval Europe. You may work with a partner.

Part Two: After you finish the task for "Who Were the leaders and how was the Church Structured," you may explore the rest of the links in any order you please. You should learn about three more topics on Europe's Middle Ages. List the topics you study and write three to four facts about each. Pay attention to which topics interest you and circle the topic that interests you the most. Topics you might want to explore: serfs, Black Plague (Black Death, Bubonic Plague), Crusades, castles, seiges, kings and queens, Christianity, jousts, cathedrals, and knights.
