Introduction
CONGRATULATIONS, The Wildlife Zoo has chosen YOU!!! Wildlife Zoo is trying to create a better habitat for their animals to live in, and they need your help. For this job you need to research and study different types of animals, and create a model based on the animals' needs and natural habitat.

Task
The Wildlife Zoo
For this assignment, you have to choose one animal for The Wildlife Zoo.
You will need to find information using the internet, books and resources in the classroom on your animal.
You will work with your classmates to learn and discuss the different animals that have been chosen.
You will make a model of the Zoo and use the information you found to do so.
Make sure you are prepared to tell and show your classmates why you chose to make your Zoo the way you did.
And HAVE FUN!

Process

On Your Own
To begin, start thinking about what animal you would like to research based on what we have learned in the classroom.
Then once you have thought hard, start looking up information about your animal using the links I have provided in the Teacher's Page, the books we have read in the classroom and books in the library.
Next you will need to complete the worksheet found here.
Group Work
After filling out the worksheet, find 4 other classmates who have a different animal than you chose. Make sure they are animals that you would like to have in your zoo. This will make a total of 5 animals for your zoo.
Then make a model of the zoo, including each of your animals in your group, and their habitat. Be creative when making your model. You can use clay, playdoh, cardboard, etc.
Once your model is completed, you and your group will present the model. When presenting make sure to explain why your animals were best for The Wildlife Zoo.

Conclusion
Thank you for creating the perfect Wildlife Zoo with the exact habitat the animals needed! It is so important to learn about the animals in our environment, so we know exactly how to care and protect them. I hope with all the information you have learned while doing this webquest, you can teach your friends, family and community a little more about our animals. I hope you enjoyed the webquest.
