Process
How do we determine the validity of a website?
- Step 1- Type your weather phenomenon into the search browser (Google).
***This was done for you with the following websites below.
- Step 2- Look for websites containing your weather phenomenon.
- Step 3- Click on the website (.edu, .org websites are the best).
- Step 4- Read through the website for the information (do this before you start taking notes).
- Step 5- Look for an author and publication date- the date should be updated recently (current), and the information is fact based and not opinion based.
-After you have looked through all the websites determine if any information was different (contradicts other information). This could make a website not valid.
-If you determine the website (s) is valid you may begin taking notes.
Let’s practice with the websites below!
