Introduction
A newly introduced credible private school is lacking popularity since it is still growing within the system. It is not much advertised .Most people are not familiar with the school's educational standards and even the commitment of the staff at this school. Teachers are well qualified and they are self-motivated to get better grades. The enrollment is still low at 153 learners from form one to five. The school has strength in sciences.
BACKGROUND
Paver Senior Academy is a private day school which is located at the heart of Kariba. The school was launched in 2023 by a group of qualified teachers who retired in the education sector. The school has strength of science subjects which include Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Combined science. It enrolls form one to five and teachers consist of members with more than 15years of experience and three Head of departments are examiners of respective subjects at ZIMSEC. It has a culture of English -speaking environment. Subjects offered at O Level are Biology,Chemistry,combinedscience,Geography,Mathematics,English,Shona,History,Accounts,commerce and A' Level they offer Sociology ,History ,Heritage, Business enterprises, and other science subjects. For a student to be enrolled he or she should be in the range of 6 to 10 units. For this school to be well advertised there is need to use business cards since they are already flyers. There is need for the two to of these things to be used together.
O level pass rate in 2023 was 73% and ten of the staff members they have degrees and three have masters degree. Teacher to pupil ratio is one facilitator per 30 learners.
Task
1.Design a business card for your school advertising it for enrolment and print it in colour
2.The learners are going to work in fours. Two of the learners are going to design a school logo and other members gather information to be added on the business card
3.The following should be included in the business card: school name and logo, contact details (phone number, email address, website),physical address
What is this business card?
It is a small rectangular card that contains important contact and professional information about an individual or company. It is used for quick and easy sharing of contact details, networking and leaving a lasting impression especially in professional settings. It reinforces a brand's identity through logos, colours and overall design, creating a memorable impression where one's business maybe more recognisable .It is used as tangible marketing tool, providing a concise overview of a business and its offerings, making it easy for potential clients to reach out.
Process

1.You are assigned to a team of four
2.One of you to visit canva.com online application and create an account or log into your existing one
3.Login into canva.com online application using your username and password
4.As a team hover over templates and select business cards to find a template they like.
5.Choose a template ,give a name and save using school name.
6.Add their company name, contact information and any custom text
7.They are to modify the background, images and fonts to match their brand and making it more visually appealing and easy to read. Upload their logo and any other imagery they want to include. Make sure you will reduce the size to a good size.
8.Go to the task page, and check if you have fully answered the questions. Then do necessary adjustments for you to score higher and make sure everything looks good.
9.Go to evaluation page and do self-evaluation on your project and also make necessary adjustments or you to score higher
10.Save the card as a pdf and download the business card and print it using colour printer
