My Catty
My little cat name is Catty. It is a cute cat. Her body is fat and covered with thick fur. She has four legs with sharp claws. Her beautiful eyes color is green. She acts like a naughty cat sometimes, like eating my food, going outside my house and playing with the mud. However, she is also very understanding cat. Every morning she is always at the gate with me to wait for my father to take me to school. Furthermore, she is always beside of me when I finish my assignment. My little catty is a great cat for me.

My Annoying Seatmate
I sit with my seatmate in the class everyday whose name is Doni. He is a bad boy. His body is taller and fatter and me. He often comes late to school. Every day, he always bothers me at school. He always eats the food that I bring from home. He often takes my pen without permission. Even, sometimes he cheats on me when the examination takes place. Sometimes, he also scratches my bench with a pen. He always makes me feel uncomfortable when I am around him.

Process
Definition of Descriptive Text
Descriptive text is a text that says something by giving the characteristics of things or someone. This information usually uses our senses, such as what we see, what we feel with our tasting, what we hear and what we feel with our hands.
Generic Structure of Descriptive Text
1. Identification: In this part, the writer introduction something, someone or a place. For example: things, animal, person and etc.
2. Description: After the writer tell about the introduce of something or someone, in this part the writer give description in detailed about what will be described from the introduction of something, a person or place that has been informed on identification by writer.
Purpose of Descriptive Text
- To give a description about person, thing or place in specific.
- To give a detail description about particular person or fact about something.
Language Feature of Descriptive Text
1. The tense used to make descriptive text is the simple present tense because it provides a factual and real description of something or someone.
2. Using adjective in descriptive texts such as sweet siblings, beautiful gardens, and so on.
3. Specific participant there is an object that is specific or particular that need to be describe, such as: my beloved brother, my gray cat, and so on.
4. Using action verbs to indicate activities that undertaken, such as cleaning the garden, running, and so on.
Example
My Little Brother
I have a brother whose name is Boy. He is ten years old. He is 154 cm tall and weighs about 35 kg. He is a sweet brother. Everyday, when I clean my house always helps me. He wakes me up every morning before I go to school. Besides, he always helps father gardening in our garden. Even sometimes I see him in the kitchen with my mom to prepare our meals. It is such a lucky to have him and I really love him so much.
My Green Garden
In my house, there is a beautiful garden. It is really clean garden. Everyday, my family clean it up. It is located exactly behind my house. There are many plants inside it, such as aglonema, chamaedorea elegans, cactus, anthurium, mango tree, guava tree and many more. Many beautiful flowers also bloom around it such as rose flower, frangipani, bougenville, orchids, cananga and so on. The air there is very cool. It is suitable for chilling there. It such a best garden we ever have.

Conclusion
Descriptive text is a text that describe about something or someone to give description or detail about particular person, place or things in specifically. The text use two generic structure there is identification(about introduction the things, place or person that will describe) and description(about description in detailed the person, place or things that has been introduce in identification). Descriptive text using simple present tense, adjective word, specific participant and also action verb.
In this lesson students have been learned about definition of descriptive text, the purpose of descriptive text, generic structure of descriptive text, language feature of descriptive text and learned how to analyzing descriptive text.
