Introduction
- Descriptive text is a text that describes what kind of person or an object described, shape, properties, and other number.

- Identification is the introduction, a general description of a topic.
- Description is contains the special characteristics possessed object, place, or person who is described.
- Descriptive text characteristics
- Using simple present tense.
- Using verb attribute, like be (am, is, are).
- Just focus on one such object.
Task
Make a descriptive text about animal.
Process
- The teacher gives a different picture to each students.
- Each students must identify the image obtained.
- Then start writing with approximately 35 minutes.
- Each students read the work in front of the class, then the other students guess what is being described.
Evaluation
Students can make a descriptive text without being given a picture again.
Conclusion
The purpose of the Descriptive Text is to describe something, such as person, animal, thing, or place, in a detailed so that the readers or the listeners are able to understand what we are able to imagine the thing we describe even though they have not seen it before.
