Our Senses

We use our senses everyday, our senses help us in day to day activities. The fives senses are hearing, seeing,touch,and smell. In this webquest, you will learn all about your senses.

In this lesson, it is your job to be a senses detective and search through books, and websites to learn all about your senses. Once your detective work is done, you are to complete a list of what the five senses are, and to write what you used your senses for that day.

Follow and complete each step below:

1. Read Aliki Brandenburg's book "My Fie Senses"

5. Complete your list of the five senses and what you used your senses for that day.

The following rubric will be used to evaluate your work. Each student must fully complete each activity, in order to recieve full credit. I am excited to hear all about your detective work.

Good work detectives, you have learned all about your senses. You also learned what parts of the body are senses need in order to work properly. Let's sum up what we learned detectives.

Taste- We taste with our tounge

Smell- We smell with our nose.

Touch- We touch with our hands

Sight- We see with our eyes

Hear- We hear with our ears.
