TEXAS - The Path to Revolution

Introduction

It's 1835 you have left your home in New Orleans for the opportunity to purchase cheap land for cattle ranching in a Mexican-ruled territory. You have been settling in now for a few years. Many settlers from the United States have been getting increasingly tense with the Mexican government. Texas should be independent but is the answer a revolution. Will there be a war between Texas and Mexico? 

Task

You must evaluate both sides and make the decision to stay and fight or retreat. Use the following resources to research the best option for you and your family. There will be pros and cons for each.  Your assignment will be to weigh all the information you gather to come to the best possible scenerio for your family. Keep in mind the decision you make could be life or death.
