Introduction
C3 and C4 plants have very different photosynthetic mechanisms.
C3 plants have just your average North American photosynthetic process which open their stomata and breathe in CO2 and release O2 during the day. the reason that they go through this reaction normally is because they are not exposed to extremely hot weather.
C4 plants are different because they have two seperate cells mesophyll cells and bundle sheath cells. This is used to combat photorespiration which is when plants breakdown glucose to form CO2 instead of breaking down CO2 to make glucose and releasing O2.
