The Renaissance

Introduction

If people knew how hard I worked to get my mastery, it wouldn't seem so wonderful at all.

The Italian Renaissance was a wonderful time in history for the arts. You will have the opportunity to learn about the life and talents of an artist, scientist, or architect from this time in history. You will learn of how they were inspired in their work, the sacrifices that they were required to make, and how their work was received by the individuals of that time.

While you are viewing the art take the time to appreciate the color. At the time that these pictures were painted, paint had to be created by the artist and his helpers. It took time for these individuals to crush and blend the materials used in the paint order to get the perfect shade. Look at the artist's techniques and the details that were used in creating these masterpieces. I want you to learn to appreciate art and the effort it took to create it.
