In this lesson, students will research different universities or tech schools that offer culinary degrees (associate's or /and bachelor's). Students will use the websites of at least three different culinary colleges to obtain the information needed to complete this assignment.
In this WebQuest, you will research different culinary colleges to see what they offer. Research at least three colleges or tech schools to decide your options after high school and what you might want to do after graduation.
Task

You will research what different colleges or tech schools offer culinary and compare them to each other. Then, you will decide which school is best for you and your future needs. You will be required to create a PowerPoint presentation documenting your choice.
Process

After high school, you will research different websites to find important facts about culinary career options.
Process 1
You will choose which university you want to research using the website below. Research a school and degree that best fits your interest.
Process 2
You will research your top three schools and find out the following information for each:
- Name of college
- Tuition cost for both in-state and out of state
- Brief description of at least three different majors (not degrees) they offer that you are interested in
- What kind of career or job can you get after you graduate with the major you chose
- Where each college is located (city, state)
- Each college's website
- 3 Photos of each college (or a video tour if you can find one)
You can use the comparison chart I gave you to write down your info.
Process 3
You will create a Prezi with the following:
1. Your first slide will say "College WebQuest Project" and will have your name as the author.
2. Your second slide will show your top three college choices (and their websites).
3-5. At least three slides (one for each of the colleges) with all of the comparison info and pictures on them.
6. The last slide will show your top choice and state why you chose it.
